This is with bestbuy, so no bill credit involved, it's instant trade in value that deducts from the sale price, and tax is on the deducted selling price too. Don't mislead others.

ATT is $100 cheaper further. $500 for mini and $600 for regular. But trade in values are horrible.

T-Mo is still the best in value overall.

Oops! I did it again. I can't help myself. LMAO

Our family of 4 already have the latest iPhones thanks to this awesome BB deal. We still have an iPhone 11 which acts as a spare in case someone loses or breaks their phone.

For $99 plus tax, I traded it yesterday's for an iPhone 13 mini. I told the BB rep that it's a spare/backup phone and he didn't open it up. Cool

Will they refund full $20 or prorated?
I called to cancel this morning and they cancelled but no refund of $20. So full service was charged regardless that only had it for 4 days . Bummer

If I trade in my current iPhone 6s towards the purchase of the 13, does the $180 trade-in value include the extra $200 tmobile promotion credit? Or is it $180+$200 credit? Just needed some clarification. Thank you

How quickly after activating the $20 plan were you able to go to bestbuy? Does it take a while for the bestbuy system to know about the new TMobile plan?

So you paid $20 for 1 month + $30 for activation?
Got the sim in the morning, activated on the burner android device p. Then 5 min later did the purchase on Best Buy website. It did require sending the text message to the line I activated on Best Buy to verify the T-Mobile account.

I just picked up the iPhone 13. They gave it to me unopened with the T-Mobile sim separately.

Why do I need this Sim? Can I just insert the $20 Sim and use it to unlock the phone?

I've inserted the T-Mobile sim. Messaged them on Twitter and they've unlocked it. The phone still says locked. I've tried a boost and Xfinity sim with no luck. Any ideas?

Is there a difference between this new SIM and my existing T-Mobile $20 SIM? Same plan and same phone number?

If you don't have a deep pocket, then stay away from any Apple products. Otherwise Apple supports will suck your blood till death. That's what I have learned over the years when owning Apple products from iPhone to iPad and pc. Their warranty is very lousy. If you are unlucky and get their lemon products, Apple supports make you pay to fix except if you buy the insurance.
I actually found you can save $$$ when you take advantage of deals like these. Plus, the products have high resale value so you can save even more when upgrading.

Finally was able to walk out with the 13 today. Even after transferring in my line to my family's T-Mobile account from Verizon, Best Buy couldn't see it. So I just asked if they could upgrade my mom's line even though I didn't have the phone with me. They pulled up the account (had to call my mom to get the 6 digit security code from the text). They were able to proceed with an option to continue using current SIM. I traded in a XR I bought off OfferUp for $200 so final cost for me was $510 out of pocket ($700 - $390 trade in + $200 paid for the XR) from no phone to the 13. Once I get the new SIM that got shipped from T-Mobile, I can just pop that in.

I've restarted it. Reset it completely. Updated to the new iOS version. It still says sim locked.

I personally think it's impossible. you might receive a response from them saying your phone is not in their system. However I'm wondering if you can unlock with esim
