Man.... 18TB is a lot of data to lose if the drive ever crashes. I had one of these drives that was smaller. They are very top heavy and easily tipped over. I accidentally tipped one over on my desk and it bricked it. Data was irretrievable. Just something to consider.

I am pretty sure 90% of people buying these shuck them and throw them in a desktop.

I picked this up on the last SD. I like it so far, but it runs at 47-50 degrees all the time and it makes more noise than any drive I've ever owned. All the hd utilities and scans show it's perfect though, so I guess I'll live with the heat and the noise. 18tb is delicious.
