Why not ? It says it supports 4G LTE. Do they even release phones without LTE these days ?

Yes it will

They won't shut down 4G LTE for a long time. Carriers tend to keep their legacy networks until no one is using them, as the $ is already spent. Many people don't upgrade their phones every 2 years. The carriers are aware of this, and they'll gladly charge you the same amount for their old network. I have a friend that was still on a 3G iPhone phone last I checked a year or so ago.

I got this phone from Target last weekend. Put in my FreeUp Mobile SIM and it works. I think it should work for H2o too since they both are AT&T mvno.

I actually miss the flip phone days but I miss the days when we didn't have cellphones even more.
This is because the retailer needs to scan and activate the phone (like a gift card) before they sell it, and they often don't especially if it is shipped. I bought one for my dad for Christmas at Target, and I had to take it back to the store and get another one that was activated at the checkout. If it is not activated, AT&T will presume the phone is stolen, and your SIM will be disabled. You'll have to contact your carrier to get the SIM reactivated. It's a pain in the you-know-where. Working with Red Pocket GSMA.
Wow, blast from the past. Reminds me of the good old days. $2 shipped to your door.

Tons of reviews related to problems with activation.
