Had these on a round trip from USA to India. Still in very good shape. Will last at least a few more international trips.

I used to work in luggage at Macys and we sold these. Long story short, these will last a few trips and if you are lucky some rough handling but be aware that their build quality isnt great so its not a matter of IF it'll break but when.

That being said, I have used these for taking on car trips and similar where they wont be handled rough and they will work fine. Just dont be surprised if you see the seams or parts breaking after a few trips.

Which brand would you suggest based on your experience?

I remember buying the hard shell ones, as big as 30" for $20. This is at the peak of the pend in 2020. Best deal ever.

one of the amazon reviews mentioned that the cabin bag does not fit domestic and international size limits.

did you have any issues with the cabin bag during international travel?

I travelled via Emirates and didn't have any issues. Each airline has different specs. I would check with the airline website you are traveling.

25" is pretty much useless for me and maybe many others who travel and check in 2 pieces. I would rather have a 21" and 2 X 29" bags as a deal.

Bought these for my wife for Christmas. We took a trip that had 1-stop and the bags came out just fine. I think they will last more than three trips but they are not going to last as long as a good Samsonite set. For the price I am going to get a set for myself as our Samsonite set that has gone on dozens of trips over 20+ years is a little too beat up for another trip (zipper broke and one wheel is busted).

I bought some no name soft luggage about 15 years ago. Pack of 3. I do about 2 international round trips and like 6 domestic round trips every year. The bags follow me everywhere. They're still completely usable albeit dirty and scuffed here and there.

I don't know what people do or how they travel (or what the quality of bags produced today is) that they only last like 3 trips.
It is usually the baggage handling at the airport between destinations that messes luggage up. For me, as long as I have a 10 year warranty "wheels included", I would go for it. Otherwise, the warrant is useless.

If you need it now...take it.
This will drop to 75$ once supply chain issues are fixed.

How does the warranty work?
Shipping to and from repair shop are included or not?

I purchased these and I returned them due to the overall build and quality. I primarily travel from US to Middle East/India. YMMV but the life of these bags truly depends on the airline, destination and the handling. I'm sure it will last more than 2-3 international round trips but with an extra $20-30, you could get a 2 piece set from Samsonite, which is definitely much more superior and durable.

If you plan on doing any regular travel get good hard-sided luggage, not the soft-sided stuff. It'll outlast them by a mile.
Softside's main advantage is that they fit better into a variety of car and car trunk situations.

A hard side is usually yes or no whether or not they'll fit. A soft side has some negotiation including taking a few things out and stuffing them into a void that wasn't going to be used anyways.

It's true that a hardside has some better durability depending on use cases. On a cruise for example, where everything is stacked on top of each other in the cargo hold, a hard shell will more likely protect your things and come out ok. International flights as well.

If you end up doing car travel often, a soft side has some decent advantages, but those advantages can be replicated by a wheeled duffel bag and those are fairly inexpensive and don't need near mythical levels of durability to be useful, so imo, a hardsided set like the samsonite on sale at amazon [amazon.com] for international flights/cruises and a cheaper set of rolling duffels for domestic/car trips will keep both lasting longer.

For anyone preferring hardside luggages. I bought the blue color and it looks decent. Haven't traveled with it yet.

Hard sided get cracked almost immediately if you check them.

Thanks for posting this deal! I had bought one of the large hardside bag in this line and was looking for more. We had checked it for domestic round trip travel once already and it held up great. No cracks that we noticed.
