Been using this model for slightly more than 4 yrs and one of my best & well spent purchases. A game changer in cleanliness and also use of ease. Bought it for $175 - thx to SD!!!

@martin00023 - you can set the temperature of both water & seat and is a blessing in winter. I leave the unit on all the time, so it is ready.

Only thing is the battery for remote eats up pretty quick. So as a workaround, I keep the battery detached in the stand (once you set up settings) and use the switches on the seat.

Also remember you need an outlet near by and ensure a you have a water valve to shutoff just in case.

For those on the fence, hope this helps.

No apartment I've ever lived in has had an outlet near the toilet. I wonder if this is the case more generally. It's the only thing that's held me back from buying one for the last decade.

I added an outlet to the same circuit as the bathroom light switch. Zero pulse ever.

If your toilet is close to the sink, you can buy a water mixer which mixes the hot and cold to whatever temp you like. THEN buy a cheap bidet which usually have a clean feature and can move enough water to get up to the desired temp for your booty while you do your business

per the mfg .. It "require" a dedicated outlet on it own circuit. Otherwise it's going to make your bathroom light pulse like a heart beat .... Very annoying.... Some dimmable led bulb deal with this better and almost imperceptible.... Regular non dimmable bulb and even incandescent will pulse
Yeah, didn't want to spend the extra effort to get it on its own circuit, and yes my vanity lights pulse, which isn't a big deal for me because at some point I can get that outlet on its own circuit. The problem I have is the seat extends a bit past my elongated toilet bowel, which eventually leads to a mess with kids (and some adults). I have contacted the mfg and was told that it should fit my toilet (American Standard, champion 4) but I think that info is wrong. Since the toilet is a one piece is doesn't have the needed clearance between the tank toilet seat which leads to the seat extending a bit forward. Also, as others have said the toilet seat does crack after some time (mine did after about a year of use).

Anyone ever tried using an extension cord to a gfci outlet?
I have mine hooked to a extension cord (3 ft) to a gfci, no issues.

Definitely from the bidet around the power button. When I unplug, no sound.
Is it on its own circuit? If not you may have a power draw from another device that is leading to adequate power issues for the bidet and possibly leading to the sound

I got this for Christmas and it's my first Bidet experience, overall I would definitely recommend it as it's great for cleanliness.

The only negative I'd point out, and I'm not sure if it's indicative of all bidets or my particular toilet, but because it has the large "back" to accommodate the electronics and such inside of the unit, it pushes you further forward on the toilet. The front of our seat now overlaps the porcelain a bit (maybe an inch?) and it's set as far back as we can. This makes it so that if you're a guy and you're sitting on the toilet you have to "tuck" your "man part" down when you sit on the toilet otherwise it will be pressed against the porcelain. Unless you're planning on spending the evening sitting on the toilet it's not the biggest deal, but is still my only real complaint. Not sure how to solve for this other than buying a full "bidet toilet" and not just a bidet seat.
Lol, talking with customer service made it seem like I was the only one that was having the issue of the toilet seat extending forward and not being able to push it further back. There have been times when our kids have not tucked and it lead to pee on our white marble tile, and since we didn't catch it fast enough we now have a pee stain etched in our marble (which we working on having cleaned)

My unit has a soft buzzing sound even when it's not in use. Anybody else experience this? It's what keeps me from buying another.
Its designed to drown out the noise of a #2. You can barely hear the splash.

Actually I have been interested in one, so this is good information to consider, especially if the toilet is in the master bathroom.

The hot line takes like a full minute to get hot in my current place, though. Also, the sink is too far away. Might have worked at my last two places. I'll keep it in mind for the future, though, thanks.

We have the BB2000. Bought on sale for 50% or so off. Love it! I was resistant to the idea of a bidet, but the wife insisted. So glad she did.

My only complaint right now is that you cant sit on the closed seat. Didn't realize how often I did that - until I couldn't. Mostly to put on my shoes in the morning when I get ready in the bathroom while the wife sleeps.

In case anyone doesn't want to spend that much money on a bidet seat, try one of the inexpensive ones first to see what you think. I have one like this [amazon.com] (but it doesn't have the woodgrain) that I ordered last year when everybody was talking about them, and it is a different experience if you've never tried it. I'm a guy but I think it was worth $20 or so when I ordered it.
