Mine doesn't make things smell like lighter fluid, but I follow the directions and don't overfill it. It burns extremely cleanly. Maybe it will burn worse as it ages.

The zippo is by far the most efficient form of portable hand warmers. Mine have lasted 24 hours and has still been hot.
Yep, if your Zippo warmer makes you smell like lighter fluid, you're doing it wrong. You might want to throw them away before you catch yourself on fire.

Changed to 2 separate orders of qty 15 and was able to check out just fine for both.
Going to donate these to my son's school for the staff outside directing busses and parent drop offs in the MN cold.
