Placed an order for 2 kits, then a second order for a third. Have shipping notices for all 3 kits so lets see if they make it here.

Edit: Ordered at 4:03 am est. FedEx says arriving Thurs Feb 3.

Once you have a shipment notification and tracking number, you're golden. Those labels cost money to generate as it means a label was created and payment was made to the carrier. At least shipments to the home. I'd imagine that they could still cancel orders going from the warehouse to the store for in-store pickup, but that's still doubtful. There are layers of screw-ups on this deal and I honestly can't believe people are getting shipment notifications. The pricing error to begin with, the fact that they didn't catch that hundreds of the same item all sold in a matter of minutes (that's usually how they become aware of these issues), and the fact that they didn't do mass cancellations before they were able to get picked and shipped by the warehouse. Shoot. At 50 pounds, its probably costing Home Depot ~$25-$30 just to ship these. I'm bummed that I missed out on the deal, but its silly to hold it against those that were fortunate enough to get in on it. I've been Slickdealing (specifically Dewalt) for probably 6 or 7 years and this is hands down the best deal I've ever seen come across this site. No other deal comes even close.

I have had many orders ship, only to be recalled by the company when it was out for delivery in my town. So shipment means nothing until it is in your hands.
