Although GMG still shows $6.99, full price of this game was raised to $9.99 on Steam after "Quake: Enhanced Edition" was released in October 2021 (currently discounted to $3.99 on Steam during lunar new year sale). So it's actually 77% off. Pretty good price for a classic FPS with both original and enhanced editions and all expansion packs. When you start the game for the first time, it will let you choose which edition to play. The KEX engine-based enhanced edition looks absolutely stunning on modern hardware and is a blast from the past.

I think I want to save the extra few dollars too, but is Greenmangaming legit / trustworthy?

Yes, multiple successful purchases through GMG
Also, it's just Quake (the first one) that's been remastered, right? Quake II looks like the original release?
