Add the All-State for 3 yrs full coverage plus the Costco 2 yrs
- RTX 3060 is rated 85w (one of the lowest performance versions), which makes it near the performance of a RTX 3050 Ti
If it had the 100w or higher version, this would definitely be a really good deal
All I'm saying is that that warranty wise, its not a huge difference..
This laptop comes with the i7 11th Gen, RTX 3060 (I saw the message about 85w), 1 TB SSD, and 16GB of their RAM. $999 plus tax = $1075.
Is the $240 difference worth the upgrade of processor, half the RAM, and higher model Video card?

Thanks. Where did you find this info? I posted my dilemma a few comments down and wondering if $240 is worth getting the 3060 6GB instead of 3050Ti 4 GB.
As for the difference in performance between this gimped RTX 3060 (85w) and a RTX 3050 Ti, you can look at the benchmarks. Most games shows around 2-8% difference in overall performance.
So its up to you to decide if that difference is worth the price difference.

Hmm strange, I have the 75w GF65 THIN variant and running it over locked I'm getting ~80% to 150% greater fps than a 3050ti in benchmarks. On mine, 130fps avg in BF5 maxed out is very close [~-5fps] to desktop, recreating benchmark videos (mobile has more cuda cores) 6GB vs 4GB does make a difference.

I'm thinking about the same Dell G15 deal. Can someone with computer knowledge provide their insights? Is it worth 200$ more for this MSI?
Thank you in advanced
