Don't buy a wrist blood pressure monitor most are very inaccurate.

Today before I went to the dentist I took my blood pressure with two highly rated blood pressure monitor Consumer Reports

Monitor ( A ) 108 / 70

Monitor ( B ) 108 / 68

Wrist blood pressure monitor at dentist office 158 / 89

When I came home my blood pressure was back to normal 110 / 70

When you buy a medical devices always by quality

Wrist monitors are further away from the heart and less accurate than arm ones. But they are easier to use, especially if you have limited mobility.

I have an arm one and a wrist one like this and my readings are almost identical on both when I cross check. Its just a lot faster and easier to use the wrist one.

Wrist monitors are a waste. They are not accurate at all. Better to get an all in one cuff for the arm if you'd rather not have the cuff and machine tether.
