This warranty does not cover any kind of damage to the TV, the cost of removal or reinstallation, or burn in on the television screen. Stolen TVs are also not covered.
I found that on thier website but it's contradictory to what's shown on the box on the Buydig website...
EDIT: found it. burn in is covered-

There was a similar slick deal a few weeks ago from Secondipity that also had the "CJ" model, so perhaps Costco had an influx of returns to liquidate - they do not typically re-sell returns as open box in store
With that being said, this "refurb" status might have a better chance of being almost like new condition as opposed to other refurb sales on sites like Woot that are more "scratch and dent" of a previous year's model - and thus more of a shot in the dark on what condition you might get if you pull the trigger.
This is better than the LG A1 65" that is the same price at Costco right now. Yes, you go not get the Costco extended warranty you would get if you have the Costco Visa. But that warranty does not cover burn in and still requires you to go through a 3rd party to make a claim (can't just bring it back to Costco if in year 2 something malfunctions).
Anyone know if this is eligible to receive the 10 free movie credits through Sony Bravia Core service - https://electronics.son

I canceled my order. Unclear terms for cps warranty is worrisome. And the point that others called out where if cps cannot fix the tv they will just refund the warranty cost is also borderline stupid.
Edit:
Found the answer - TVs has to be new!
From their FAQ's -
Can I get coverage for my refurbished or used item?
Yes, you can purchase a warranty on most used/refurbished electronic devices as long as they come with at least a 30-day seller or manufacturer warranty and were purchased within the last 60 days (120 days for smartphones). We are currently only able to protect new televisions, fitness equipment, major appliances, and outdoor & tools electronics.
My overview, I am not expert.

D. ADMINISTRATOR is not responsible for matching any feature of an existing item that does not contribute to the primaryfunction of that item.
G. ADMINISTRATOR, at its sole discretion, shall offer a replacement option of like kind and function or a monetary settlement equal to the current market value (Hereinafter "CMV") of the covered product as determined by the ADMINISTRATOR.

If your estimate for reimbursement has been approved but the Service Call Fee has not yet been collected, the Service Call Fee will be deducted from the approved reimbursement amount. Service Call Fees vary according to category and product. Please refer to your Plan details for more information.
I am not a lawyer, but that wording seems to the insurance provider, and then CPS, the right to apply other terms and cancel at any time for undefined reasons.
