Maybe he was talking about newegg they seemed to be in on it together since newegg was forcing people to buy them paired with GPUs and not letting anyone return the PSU unless they also returned the gpu

I ordered a Seasonic 850w from Newegg and immediately got notication it shipped on 1/24. All tracking info says is that a label was created. All calls and live chats go into a Black Hole w/o replies. Tempted to cancel and order this from 'zon. I knew there was a reason I stopped using Newegg.

You must be referring to Gigabyte PSUs. I have never had a problem with any of my EVGA PSUs.

Just got this psu at microcenter. Well see how this badboy works, been using evga for quite awhile now did not stumble any problem with them.

Who makes the GT series for EVGA. I have a seasonic made 1300w G2(because it was the same price as the 850w after discount and rebates.) and it's been going strong since 2014.
