Good deal, tastes good IMO, but 21g of sugar in each bar so they are not a meal replacement bar like Quest. Unless you are doing some serious aerobic activity, I'd suggest you pass.

that said they're sold as energy bars, not meal replacement bars, so if you buy them for their intended purpose...

I bought these the last deal go around. Unfortunately they were old stale and hard despite not being expired. Good news is amazon refunded of course. I'll pass this time.

the choco chip is stinkingly sweet sometimes especially on an empty stomach before a bike ride. prefer single flavors only like peanut butter.

The only one of these I can eat is chocolate chip. I've tried several others and they taste terrible. Clif Bars aren't even healthy.

These were developed as an alternative to existing energy bars to be eaten while hiking. For that purpose, they work very well. As a "healthy snack" while sedentary, they do not. That is the simple truth of it.

Akin to gatorade, problems occur when the product is not used for its intended purpose. That doesn't reflect a fault of the product, but of its application.

The taste, good or bad, however, IS fully culpable, if applicable.
