hey vern!!!
The "Vern" movies were "OK", but the gem here is the "Knowhutimean? Hey Vern, It's My Family Album" segment.
This is from before he became famous for all the "hey Vern" stuff. This is Jim Varney at his peak, (before he was famous). It's something that I have always found really funny. Not Monty Python funny, but pretty damn close. YMMV.

This set IS a step down from the real Ernest classics, but these are still good if you are a fan. Varney recycles bits but I don't care. The Family Album is cool to have if you are a big Ernest fan, like me.
Not familiar with the Hey Vern! one, weird it's with 2 regular Ernest movies.
There's also an episode of How Did This Get Made? about Ernest Goes to Jail that anyone in this thread should listen to!
