Amazon is now selling for the same price. If you order through them you can get 3 free months of Kindle Unlimited. You must SELECT the version with "3 Free Months of Kindle Unlimited" when adding to cart.

Kids version is $10 more, but also is a much better deal. It comes with an Amazon cover that would normally cost about $30... cover options include plain black or with graphics for kids on them. Also comes with 1 year of Kids+ access and an extended 2 year warranty! Finally, it's ads free, an option that would cost you and extra $20 by itself on the regular Kindle or Paperwhite. Too late, I tried that. Anyway it's really not that big a difference. I get 20% off + a $25 GC for trading in my old Paperwhite, so its actually only a couple of dollars difference. Yes, I probably could have gotten a bit more selling my old Paperwhite on Ebay, it's in mint condition, but at least it saves me the trouble of dealing with all that. As far as the other post saying We'd be better off waiting for the price to come down....my old Paperwhite is like 8 years old, and I wanted the improvements for my own comfort and enjoyment. Just because I am on a deals sight, doesn't mean I prioritize monetary over comfort. You only live once, and I am worth it. Applause

New Kindle's are great. I had traded in an Oasis for one and haven't look back. It's probably my favorite digital device because it only does one thing really well which is serve as a book reading device. Coupled with a library subscription and it's almost unlimited free entertainment.
