Any chance you could provide the Costco SKU for us?

6 or 7 digit # on your receipt.

Is it this:

https://www.costco.com/body-glove...95963.html

Or is it... 66358

For those that have an inflatable board, do you like it? I live close enough to the beach I walk there, and have found carrying a normal SUP incredible heavy without the aid of something to cart it along. I also often see people inflating the board at the beach, and it seems incredibly bothersome at the beginning and end if you don't store it in a car. Are board that you can take apart in a jigsaw puzzle-fashion the answer?

I have several ISUPs (9'-16') and I can say it's not good for the board to constantly inflate and deflate them like that. ISUPs actually transport quite well, inflated, with a standard roof rack <60mph. I prefer a hard shell board when I can but ISUPs are a fraction of the weight and don't damage stuff or the board itself when you bump/drop it. You can also get inflatables in much larger sizes for when you want extra stability for yourself or want to go out with friends who are larger/inexperienced. You can transport several ISUPs a lot easier yourself if you're meeting up with someonevat the lake. Plus you can take it on a plane. Sectional hardboard do exist but I dont know much about them other than they're a very small share of the SUP market.

We've owned Sevylor Inflatable SUPs for years. They're awesome. Not great for SUP surfing, if that's what you're into, but shockingly sturdy and stable. The convenience factor of hauling everything in a backpack makes it such a great experience. Only downside is the 3-5 minute workout of inflating it (make sure you've got a good pump) and having to warn everybody in 30' when you deflate. The initial rush of air out is pretty loud. (I put my hand over the valve to quiet it a bit, but there's only so much you can do.)

We've had two iSUPs, one for 4 years one for 6. Both get used about 25-50 times per year and inflated and deflated each time. I've had to patch one once, back in 2020 at the start of the season. I've never heard about it being bad for them. Interesting.

Outstanding boards and price. I own the 2018 and the 2021 and they get used a lot. Body Glove made these with triple stringers for strength and even at my 230lbs, zero flex. I have two others, including a Red Paddle that cost me $1,000 on sale, and I'll take the BG boards anytime. Their new 2022 at Costco incudes both the manual and now electric pump. You will not be disappointed. If you want a rock steady board for big water, camping, second passenger, big dog, etc., look at the El Capitan by POP board company. It's 11'6" and 36" wide and tracks like on a rail. Outstanding board with a weight cap of 450lbs. I've had mine in in Class III whitewater and the only thing damaged was me..lol. Nasty bruises. Yes, I wore a helmet and pfd and went with experienced riders on their Hala boards. Not sure I'm up for more runs. Ha.
