I have this and it is great! I love that it has dusk to dawn feature for the floodlight. I have it on warm white 20% all night and changes to bright white 100% when there is movement. My only complaint, and this applies to my other eufy cameras, is that my notifications are late from 5-30 minutes.

I have one and not impressed with the video quality and slow to load. Btw, I also have Ring floodlight cams, Eufy 1080P floodlight cams, and Feit floodlight cams. I will try Wyze floodlight cam next.

I have this light/cam and love it. The picture quality is amazing during the day and night. Live view and videos load extremely quickly when viewing in the app and I've never had late notifications. It all depends on your wifi signal and internet connection to the cam itself. Motion tracking is not 100% but does work well. The light is super bright and brightness and color temp is adjustable. Motion is very customizable and it's very quick to pickup a person as soon as they are detected. One thing I love about it is that the recordings show 5 seconds before the detected motion so you don't miss anything. It gets firmware updates from the app. I recommend it.

If I have 2 floodlights (not motion sensitive or anything) on 1 light switch... can you use these or any motion sensitive one?
I am hoping an electrician or someone who has gone through this may know. Past 2 places I have lived usually have 2 spotlights on one switch and it seems complicated to try to put in motion sensor ones or something like this.

I'm not an electrician so I don't know the safety standard on this, but I don't see why it can't be on 1 switch. But this is a surveillance camera that you would want to have on 24/7. Before I permanently hardwired this on my house, I wired it to a cord that I can plug/unplug.

looking at the spec [eufylife.com]i don't think it's going to be a problem. led lights do not draw that much power like the incandescent lights(3000lm is about 50W per each eufy) [rapidtables.com]. That is providing that nothing else is plugged into same line.

On the notification settings, use the most efficient. It will only do text notification while the camera is still recording.
I would also suggest to add a wifi extender.

I did have it on most efficient and my router is about 15 feet away with just the garage wall as the only physical barrier.

If that's the case, open a ticket to Eufy and hopefully they will replace your unit.

I have the Eufy Floodlight Cam 1080p and would really like to upgrade to this. The pan ability on this is pretty nice.
Overall I like the cam I have. My only gripe is the light motion sensor and camera motion sensor are completely independent. I get the light turning on all the time while the camera doesn't detect any motion, therefore, no video clip. I believe the motion sensor for the light and camera are one in this unit, right?

If this loses internet, will it still record events? I just found out the indoor pan and tilt and wired doorbell cam record nothing to the SD card (or internal storage on doorbell) till internet is restored.

I think it will still record without Internet/ Wi-Fi assuming you are using the micro sd which is stored locally on the device.
