This is lower than Amazon's current price on these pliers, and Amazon's current price is Amazon's lowest price in over 5 yrs. Yes, they are not cheap, but they're Made in Germany Knipex "double bends," and this is the lowest price (as far as I'm aware) - ever. >
now $34.67

Edit:
Please ignore my post above. I did not add the "B" at the end of the part number which indicates the double angle. The "A" which came up when I searched is for the single angle. Credit to OP for finding the lowest price in 5 years

You were right.... there are two listings on Amazon that in the url, end in 3881200B or 3881200A, but the same tool from the same seller (Amazon). Ongoing split testing, earlier they were about a dollar difference with one having a lot higher list price, but now the same. 3C's is also a little different, but always make sure to check 3rd party sales.
Here is the B [amazon.com]
Here is the A [amazon.com]
PS: Now, Amazon is cheaper than the OP, but still a bit overpriced for me.
Which is not to say that everything Irwin, Channellock, Milwaukee, Stanley, etc. make is crap. I have a lot of that stuff, too, and some of it is excellent, especially if you don't use it as part of your job. But if you're, say, a professional electrician, your linesman's pliers and insulated screwdriver had better be the best you can afford, and should feel good in your hand. For most electricians, that generally means Klein or Knipex, and has for decades. Dad always carried Kleins, and I have some old-as-dirt Kleins that may have been my grandfather's.
I have a couple of Knipex tools that just don't have an equal, like their pliers wrench (though I'm seeing a few competitors now). I'm debating this pair, personally, because while I can think of a couple of times they would have come in handy, I don't know if I really need Knipex-level quality for something like this. But then, I can pretty much guarantee it'll outlast me.
At this price for this tool, you are probably correct. But, each to their own.
We have a lot of Knipex tools, but have never considered close to retail as being a deal. Meanwhile, Amazon [amazon.com] is still cheaper than the since raised OP,.at $33.73, or "8% off list price," that appears to be whatever they decide it is that day.
