I have bought this brand before and it was good. I believe you can get a similar price per sheet by buying 40 at a local Asian market if you have one. Rare to see this kind of deal outside that though.

I really like this brand. I've tried other seaweed products from them, as well as this. All are great. When I can't find my Japanese brand seaweed at the Asian Market, I grab these at my local supermarket. Makes great sushi in a pinch. Don't forget your rice vinegar and sushi rice 😉

ETA: I just checked out and each of them came out to be $1.87 with a 15% S&S discount (I have other S&S products already). This would be a good filler item if you need to refill or wanna try the product.

Yes. I normally buy a Japanese brand (forgot the name of it…) from my local Asian market but when ever they are OOS, I grab these from my local supermarket. These are a great brand if you need it in a pinch for sushi!

I hope it was sushi rice? Normal rice (jasmine, basmati for example) wouldn't yield good results with roasted seaweed sheets.

I use regular rice all the time. They turned out just as good. It's a matter if mixing with rice vinegar correctly.

Costco seaweed is a different style. It is saltier and oilier making it more suitable as a "wrap" for rice and protein bites or eating by itself. This one is plain, not crispy or oily which makes it suitable for sushi rolls as you see in restaurants.
