The worst mobile phone carrier I have ever used. I would never consider them again. If everything goes well (which it does in most cases) you will be just fine. If anything, and I mean anything, doesn't go according to plan, you are totally hosed. Horrid customer service.
I played the game and got burned. The $200 savings was not worth the complete and total headache they caused. I really, really regret not listening to those that warned me about Fi.

Boost data is in the lowest priority of the 3.
QCI 9 is assigned to the base Cricket Unlimited plan, ATT's base Unlimited prepaid and Unlimited Starter postpaid plans, as well as all plans once their data bucket is exhausted. Boost Mobile's new plans are QCI 9 as well.

256gb Galaxy S22+$699 + 150$ Boost Mobile E-Gift card
Can someone explain why one would pay $200 more for the same phone, to only get a $150 gift card?
What am I missing?

I though Google fi come unlock should be better than Boost or because you have to pay and keep Google fi for 120 days ?
I'm about to order from Google fi and just curious about your reason.

2. It's cheaper monthly to be on Boost vs Fi, so Boost will save me money while I'm on it. Depending on how I like Boost, I would stay a year to have it unlock and switch or unlock and stay. And after I finish using their $200 gift card to pay the bills(estimating their $25 plan will fit my usage, it'll take 8 months to use up their gift card) I can go to eBay to have it unlock if I don't want to spend 4 more months on it. Worse case, say after a month and I don't like their service, I won't finish using their $200 gift card and move back to my trusted Mint Mobile.
While on Fi, you're stuck paying for 4 months if you don't like their service or else they charge you for the full price of the phone if you don't.

Even if you're talking about service, as long as you have good T-Mo coverage in your area, Fi would be better. Boost has a better coverage network in the States, but those data speeds and deprioritization need to be experienced first hand before making a recommendation.

Yes though, I'm probably going with Fi. $400 + $60 for 4 months service of $20 plan. I don't see how calling or texts would possibly be an issue on the Fi network which is just T mobile with US Cellular attached.
Boost being $110 more ($10 taxes) minus plan cost difference, but the year service for unlock? Perhaps I could buy stolen unlock codes off eBay, but maybe not definitely not doing no computer sharing crap.
