I have this blanket. It's been washed dozens of times. The fleece is slightly matted (but not pilled) and it is still quite usable. In fact, it remains my son's favorite blanket.

As a blanket for your bed, it probably is too small.
The last time (October 2019), I paid $15.99 for the blanket.

Yeah but the secret with washing fleece is too air dry until barely damp & out in the dryer by itself for a few minutes on gentle. Less friction and no other fabrics can rub against it
