- Check this AAA Dell 10% off coupon: https://www.dell.com/en-us/member/lp/aaa
- Goto sales page, choose this deal: https://deals.dell.com/en-us/memb...etail/d07z add to cart. or you can choose variety of different game laptops: https://deals.dell.com/en-us/memb...-ascending
- If you have Dell Financial account or you can get one with credit approval same day. there is another 5% off on top of the price using coupon: DPA5. other than 12 months interest free, there is 3% more dell rewards.
My reason to recommend this sku:
- Dell fixed mux switch and cuda cores on 3070, TGP boosted to 130w with BIOS update.
- RTX 3070 is better to use with QHD screen, G-sync and Advanced Optimus gives you more battery life on the go w/o switch Mux switch to reboot.
- QHD screen come w/ IR camera support windows hello, it have variety of usage not only for login authentication.
- 1TB ssd and 16G DDR both are swappable, x15 or m15 r4 before can't swap memory.
- Intel 11/12 gen have better performance in 1080p games but Ryzen is almost a match for QHD game.
Total will be $1424.42 plus 6% Dell rewards.
If you don't use Dell Financial, Dell rewards is reduced to 3%, and 5% discount also forfeit. but you can use Amex offers and split payment if you have.
ps1: I can't utilize the next day free shipping, it add $48 on total price, check your final price carefully.
ps2: don't buy that
1080p 3070 version [dell.com] for face value of $100 saving, that one doesn't have windows hello support and SSD is half the size.
ps3: if you absolutely want a 1080p screen check that
11800h version [dell.com] for it have better 360hz screen w/ advanced optimus and G-sync, plus it also have mechanic per key RGB keyboard. And intel 11gen is better in performance in most games on 1080p.

The big problem with the zephrus and the alienware is their slimmer, lest robust chasis is bad thermals *AVERAGING* 97 or 100C in demanding games and hitting thermal limit/throttling, at least with cpu boost clocks on.

Correction: Dell Financial doesn't work with Dell rewards applied and split payment with credit card.
"You cannot use rewards in conjunction with Dell Preferred Account if you have split your payment. To use your rewards and Dell Preferred Account, please remove any gift card or credit cards."

Asus and Msi choose liquid metal for short solution on one time, but thermal paste need maintenance anytime you open the heatsink, so liquid metal isn't the best solution for long run to customer.
So I'd say Dell/Alienware need to use some quality thermal paste instead of reinvent 4 or even 6 fans but fail to identify the bottleneck is it's bad thermal paste.
