The wording made me think that it restrict the credit to be used on new line once only, it doesn't mean it can't be used on accessories.
I just made my standard ATT payment again, but this time split it into two payments from the same card. A selectable option on the payment page.
Unless something is changed I think this will work as it has shown up in my Chase account as two separate payments to ATT wireless.

This will be my third reward of $75, effectively bringing down my bill by a decent margin.

Anyone can confirm if it works on accessories? Just got 1 on a card used before. Previous offer worked on accessories. Just want to avoid hassle to return to the store.

I made 2 accessory orders, 1 airtag holder and 2 airtags - both are set to be delivered Tuesday. Haven't heard from chase yet on this offer being redeemed/applied 🤷 ♂️

Doesn't matter if you have an account with AT&T or not, they will just ask which credit card do you want the refund to go back to.
I had a different experience. Last time I went to an AT&T store to return the product but was told because I don't have an account they could not find my order and thus they couldn't process the return. I believe it is a corporate store, definitely not an authorized seller.

So qualified transaction is something which we needed to focus now ? So it mean accessories at AT&T corporate store qualified ?

I am not touching this time. As always accessories are overpriced/unwanted and return is nightmare.

The employee lied to you. For my experience, most of the ATT employees would try not to do any return no matter whether you are ATT subscriber or not (they would use some excuses that you have no att account or your order was online order and you should return by mail), but if you insist that they SHOULD and definitely are able to do the return for you, they will somehow figure out how to process the return magically after doing "some research".

I second that, I was told once that they need the manager to initiate the return, and of course the manager was vacation for the whole week, aka don't come back to this store again

Wow, I will be really mad if she actually lied about this, because she looked so candid and trying to help. My AT&T customer service experience over the phone has been horrible. To return an item, I had to call 10+ times. Every time I called at night, the representatives never knew how to handle the return but just lied to me saying it was handled and asked me to wait. The only one there who actually knew and was willing to help was someone I called during the daytime.
