Happened to me as well. Both apple and Target said they can't do anything once the cards were activated and redeemed.

Get the gift cards online.

This was Black Friday 2020, target was doing $20 gc for each 100 apple gc. Bought 6 apple gc in store and when I got home and tried to use them each card has already been redeemed. Called apple and they confirmed the gift cards were redeemed within 10 minutes of activation by someone other than me, before I had even left the store.

Use the Target red card and you'll pay $95.50 for $110 worth of gift cards, bringing the total discount to 13.2%. Not bad at all for anyone looking to buy stuff directly from Apple. Not sure we'll see the $15 and $20 gift card offers ever again.

Idk why ppl dislike this. This is a common scam and people should know about this to avoid it. Somehow people have figured out a way to remove the scratch off to get the code and replace the scratcher. Then they use the code on a bot account to redeem the codes every minute until your gift card is redeemed.

Depends on store location where scammers are active. I try to redeem it after purchase just to play it safe even though my location is safe. Best to let people know location of the store if they have been scammed.

I think online only let me buy 1. Went into the store and bought 6 individually . I redeemed each one at the register immediately after purchase to be safe. This is in NY.

As others said, avoid buying in store. If you do, redeem right after you check out. I have bought mine online from Target and never had the horrible problems others had.

Apple gift cards can be used to pay for Apple products, services and repairs. They used to have separate iTunes and Apple Store gift cards (a pain), and combined the two into one card that can be used for everything.

You can add up to 8 gift cards (I believe) to an online order and this may not include what you have added to your Apple online balance that can be used to purchase the above items.

It really is a no brainer if you plan to purchase anything Apple now and in the future.
