Tools are solid. I use the drill and impact driver all the time. Only complaint is the metal keyless chuck on the drill occasionally just randomly loosens. Retighten it and it is fine long enough to forget about it. Impact driver works great for me. No issue.
Charging station is awesome. All steel. It has a French cleat mounting design. You hang a steel mounting cleat on the wall, hang the cabinet on that and then fire a couple screws in the predrilled holes at the back of the cabinet. Makes hanging it without help a breeze.
For those after just the charging cabinet, Lowes used to sell the Kobalt charging cabinet only but they no longer do. They do occasionally have the identical steel charging cabinet selling under the "ProSteel" brand name. From what I can tell it is the identical cabinet but just not Kobalt branded. It is rarely in stock. When it is, they typically ask $149.99 for it anyway.
