Pulled the trigger from toe for 1599 last night (out the door, taxes and shipping included) and gonna buy 5 year upsie warranty that has the burn in protection once it arrives. Dealt with Upsie in the past many times but for cell phones and they have been great. Hoping it's the same experience for TVs
edit: my total will be $1820 with the upsie warranty

With Upsie you can wait until it arrives? I am unfamiliar. I also have been seeing a ton about toe and the pricing lately for this tv but sd blocks it and I have never ordered there before. Do you have experience with them?
Could you do the same with upside warranty and the refurbished 65 C1 from woot? The refurbished C1 65" is 1399.00
Per Upsie: Eligibility limited to LG TV purchased in the last 11 months

It'll be my first time buying from toe but from what I'm seeing on their website, "All Products are New and from Manufacturer Authorized Retailers", and also comes with 1 year LG warranty. Seems pretty reputable from what other users have said about them
From Upsie's FAQs,
Q: Can I buy a warranty on a used/refurbished television?
A: No, currently we only cover TVs that are brand new and in their original sealed package.
I had a Sony 900f that was problematic after firmware updates to the point of my wife saying to replace it. The LG has updated several times and not once for me has caused an issue. I was using a Roku for streaming apps due to not liking the Sony ones. After watching everything on the C1 with all the streaming apps I unplugged the Roku. Netflix, Hulu, Disney + and paramount all work great. They seem to update often and continue to work without issues.
I was hesitant to buy the LG but now I am glad I did. It has definitely been an upgrade and I have never looked back. The picture is awesome as it should be. There are plenty of reviews that will get you all the basic settings to tune it in for the best picture for each mode. Set it once and apply to all and your done. Meaning for sd, hd, sdr, atmos you won't have to set for each input which is nice.
