Also showing $2399 for me. This or wait for 75 inch X95J to get to around $2k? For a basement theater room with no windows and 12 feet viewing distance.

I was debating between this and QN85 and settlled on QN85. Glad to see prices dropping. Hope QN85 drops as well
Is there a reason you went with the qn85 vs this?

I can't compare to 900h since I didn't own one. I have had for a couple of months. For the size it is fine. Good colors and bright enough for me, I have sliding glass doors on one side. I do like to watch NFL OTA. It has support for the new ATSC 3.0 standard. So, depending on where you are located, you can get 1080p picture over the air instead of the overly compressed signal from cable.

I've had this for a couple of months. Size is great, though a bit "thicc.". Google TV works better than Android TV on my old x900E -- processing is good enough- smooth and responsive UI- that I do not need my nvidia Shield for this TV. It runs Plex and other apps just fine. It's bright enough for most rooms and reflections are okay. 4K 120hz on PS5.

My only real complaint is that there is significant blooming when white/light elements are alone on a dark background. With 85 inches, those local dimming zones are spread out over a wide area. It's not noticeable in most content though and as a value play I can forgive it.

I mean obviously you can't really go wrong, the interwebs consensus is to get the QN90A (unless you want OLED,then get the C1 but OLED wasn't an option for me). The picture is obviously amazing and loving Elden Ring on it but man the price tag hurts! lol

I'd go for the 85 at that distance

Brighter hdr. Rtings tested the hdr brightness and it was pretty pathetic.

I compared with naked eye at Costco and BB. At first glance, QN85 almost seemed like an OLED and I didn't get the same feeling with X91J. TBH, I never owned a Sony and was finding reasons to get one. If X91J had XR processor, I probably would've. My budget is 2K and hoping QN85 will drop to $2,200 some point this year.

Costco still sells Sony. Was gonna post Costco's version of this, but they're still doing their Monday update. The 85X91CJ will be this same $1999.99... as listed on the Costco homepage.

Costco has it for same price too now

This probably seems like a silly question but does anybody know how it compares to a Sony x900A or x900b? I've currently have these and honestly the picture quality is still really good. Granted this is 20inch bigger but I'm curious how good have these higher end models gotten compared to the flagship from 8 years ago?
