This deal is for a pocket driver (PS21) and an impact driver (PS41), it does not include a drill. The kit with a drill (PS31) and impact driver (PS41) is here: https://www.amazon.com/Bosch-CLPK...B005GT0IWK

Sorry, I posted that so people could see the difference between the kits. Not intended as a deal.

If anyone is interested in the CLPK22-120 kit (with the PS31 drill) $147.00 is not a good price and you should wait for a similar $99 deal.

Edit: LOL at the downvotes. Fine, pay more, dummies.

No, I get it. It's good to post that kit because everyone seems to get them confused.

The battery is okay but their selection just sucks. I would spend a little more and go with Dewalt or Milwaukee for more tools selections. leaning more towards Milwaukee as their M12 selections are phenomenal.

I think that Bosch has a better selection than DeWalt, but Milwaukee is the clear winner in the compact 12v department.

Bosch: https://www.boschtools.com/us/en/...s-37932-c/
Dewalt: https://www.dewalt.com/systems/co...tforms/12v
Milwaukee: https://www.milwaukeetool.com/Innovations/M12

I'm in for a set because I have no impulse control. I actually have three sets of the drill plus impact. Two brushless and one not. I love these tools because they weigh next to nothing and they are better than my heavy equipment. I guess actually I'm just in it for two batteries plus I don't have the screwdriver 1 so why not.

These are nice but Bosch 12v ecosystem is incredibly limited unfortunately!

I agree, I own both ecosystems, and I really do like the Bosch 12v drivers, drill and my oscillating tool, But my Milwaukee stuff is just as good if not better, and is usually cheaper, and has way more obscure tools than the Bosch 12v ecosystem does.

Milwaukee M12 is the only 12v system I would invest in. Their selection is amazon. For 18v/20v definitely go with Dewalt, Milwaukee, or Ryobi.

Bosch has the nicest 12v. By nice, I mean they don't grind, they're quiet, and theyre built for precision.

That's really Bosch's thing. Where others tools are built like a military Hummer, Bosch is more like a Porsche.

I mean, they don't have the best torque, but torque is becoming overkill, and way overrated. And companies keep trying to make torque their selling point. Bosch has great torque on tools that need it. But their nit going to put 500ft/lbs on an impact driver. Lol. It's like most tool companies market to guys with certain... "disadvantages " lol.

However... with Bosch 12v, avoid that orbital sander... ughhh it's horrible. Lol.

I have the Bosch GSR12V-140FCB22 (bought on sale a few years back) https://www.amazon.com/Bosch-Powe...ignin&th=1 and a couple of issues i have faced include the difficulty installing screws in metal/wood combos such as when I was repairing my old rotted mail box by adding metal plates at the bottom. I now understand an impact drill makes more sense in that situation. Would the current OPs impact drill kit be a good option to complement my existing bosch? I presume these bosch 12v lithium drill batteries are interchangeable. I dont really need the additional pocket drill but i guess it is often cheaper to get a kit like this than just an impact drill plus batteries.

Another issue was that sometimes pulling out the battery from the handle was harder than i thought it should be. The tabs seemed to be easier when i first bought it than now. This maybe a design issue with these portable 12v in handle drills as i vaguely remember a similar issue with the battery tabs on a craftsman 12 v drill.

I have been tempted to buy the bigger but lot cheaper 18V ryobi (great deals currently at HD) or ridgid impact drills but given my limited usage seemed better to stick with an existing brand at home.

Thanks
