What does it mean for a TV to be "all spaced out"?
Where do you see a quality 85 inch OLED for $2,700.00?
What does a surround sound package of $1,700.00 have to do with any of this?

I'm sorry but I wouldn't trust Newegg with my money. I've tried to purchase tech from them and it always arrived in previously opened boxes. I didn't even return the RAM that was in an opened box but I damn sure wouldn't trust them with a $2,900 television or for them to honor any type of warranty

I had actually gone in to buy the 77C1, but went G1 for a few reasons: I was planning to wall mount it and would have needed to buy a thin mount anyway for the C1 and the G1 includes it. Additionally, my wife strongly preferred the flush look of the G1. Finally, I liked that it was using the newer generation Evo panel and the 5 year burn in coverage sealed the deal.

So far its great and was a nice upgrade from my 65C7. The main improvement is screen size, but the features they added since then are also nice. It's definitely brighter than my 65C7, but it's hard to differentiate how much of that brightness difference is from the screen size jump vs higher NIDS on the new panel.

I wish they'd just offer the tv with out the warranty and the gift card for $2,357. For most of us the warranty will essentially be useless/worthless.. and we have to pay sales tax on the tv, the warranty and the GC.

Have you tried the new Nextgen ATSC 3.0 tuner? I assume your local market has the new 3.0 OTA broadcasting. Sports/Olympics had to be amazing in 1080p at 60Hz.

I was able to get in on the LG Partner EPP deal for the 77" C1. There were a lot of people who called me out because I said the price jump from the 77" to 83" was massive. The 77" was $2350 shipped, and I believe the 83" was $3900. Later on in the thread you'd see the same people who initially bought the 83" try and cancel or sell it off because they were able to get the 77" at the cheaper price. With the money saved, you could buy another OLED or put it towards anything else. I confirmed that my 77" C1 has an EVO panel as well. It's plenty bright. If LG continues to offer various discounts through their EPP, I will definitely buy my next OLED from them.

I did not as we are on YouTube TV; the 4K events on that platform did look great. I am unfortunately in a valley with limited reception and my wife would never allow an external antenna.
