The Woman was terrible, very exploitative and disgusting. People claim it's good, and the description makes it seem ambiguous. But every scene made me angry. What they DON'T tell you is that it's mostly sexual abuse. The father rapes everyone, and nobody says anything. Teacher comes by to check on her student, and he starts abusing the teacher, too. She doesn't say anything or fight back. The ending literally has dialogue like "all men are evil and women need to break free of them." So not only do I hate domestic violence and wanted the father to die, but I was generalized as evil and shamed because of my gender.

Wow, the 4K disc Apes trilogy was recently on sale on Amazon for $24.99. Even though I own a 4K player, I might just settle for these prices.

YMMV but I got Django for free due to some unknown Prime credit. It was only applicable to one movie though, otherwise I would have picked up the others as well.

Prime Members, check it out and please report back if you also got credit for a free movie

You didn't get it free. It only meant that you had $3 in digital credits which were applied to your purchase. Amazon shows you the post digital credits applied price making you believe you're getting a lower price, great marketing strategy. Once your $3 was applied, there were no surplus points left for anything else. Didn't mean to steal your thunder, just noting how it works 😊

Rise of the planet of the apes is such a good movie, totally unexpectedly good, but the next 2 woefully disappointed me. I think they missed a lot of the human element that the first one had.
