how do these compared to Milwaukee bits? Thanks in advance
The Milwaukee bit set for the same price has half the amount of bits but I think it is a more complete set. It is well thought out and comes with commonly used and unique bits in the Milwaukee set. Quality is very good.
Makita set looks like it has a lot of fillers to make it look like a good value.
I bought this exact set last year about this time, have been very underwhelmed with their general durability. I won't buy them again.
I have a decent history of positive experiences with most things Makita, these were definitely a let down. At $20 it's still a lot of bits for the money from a quantity stand point but since this purchase I have been MUCH more satisfied with the Makita XPS bits, hands-down, no contest.

Filler, what is filler in a bit set? I see lots of the most common types of bits with multiples of the most used, worn out or lost ones.

Don't really need like 16 PH2, 8 PH3, and 8 PH1. A couple of the less common ones is fine. You can just buy a box of "tic tacs" for PH2. There's a full line of torx bits when you'll probably use a couple. And there's no Hex bits but the Square drive bits? It's mostly fillers.
