Not sure what to tell you but I have also used these for years. Never had one wash away after just a few flushes. Actually they claim that each time you stamp it on there, it lasts a week and I usually found that the gel was still there for close to 2 weeks before I'd need to stamp a new one in there. And that's in my main powder room which gets used many times a day daily. I really liked this product for the years that I used it. I stopped because now i have cleaners come clean my house weekly and they do all the toilets, so everything stays pretty clean now.

I found only a few minor complaints with this stuff- 1. you can't really clean the toilet with a scrub brush until the majority (or all) of the gel has worn off, otherwise your brush gets filled with sticky gel and it's not fun to clean off. 2. you have to be clever about placement so that you can't actually see it in the bowl- it's not very visually appealing to your guests. 3. If your toilet actually doesn't get Enough use, it's ineffective and you'll still get rings, plus the gel will get hard and stuck on so bad that you can't clean it off. You obviously need the flushing action to have water go over the cleaner and actually clean the bowl.

I have used these for years including in my RV. I have never had an issue with them degrading or disappearing quickly. I'm not sure how well they work to keep the bowl clean but they do keep it smelling fresh.

Bought these... followed instructions (literally a monkey can do it)... flushed twice and the gel was gone. Worthless.

meaning it got washed away or lost the cleaning ability? You must not have applied correctly.

Bought last time. Smell is ok. I have not noticed rings in my toilet over a couple of weeks of it being installed though. So I'll buy again at this price

You're telling me I can build IKEA furniture, install a garbage disposal, install ceiling fans... but can't stamp gel to a toilet bowl? Okay guy.

Last time these were on sale, Amazon sent me 6 packages. I called customer service and they said lucky you and told me to keep them.

They always stick for me, but I throughly clean the toilet and wait for the surface to dry then stick the gel. Works perfectly.

Also, when they start to lose their effectiveness, I take a screwdriver or something and put a couple of channels in them to expose fresh gel. Makes them last longer.

I didn't meant that way. All I was trying to say is you must not have followed the instructions properly on how to use / install these…

Been using these for years. They work great, maybe too great sometimes. I'll usually end up having the remove a small amount that's left and just won't ever disappear. There's always coupons for these to make it stupid cheap.

I live alone so I'm also stuck with leftover. I'm able to jam it onto my toilet brush and use it to clean out the bowl, zero waste

Bought these the last time they were on sale - glorified air freshener for your toilet. I will not be buying these again.
