Trade-In Info
Overview: If Samsung is processing trade-ins like prior deals, you will receive instructions by email--along with a prepaid shipping label--around the time your new phone arrives. You can also print the label from your online Samsung account.
You will send in the phone only (no boxes, chargers, SIMs, cases, etc.). Exception: If you are trading a Note series, the S Pen must be included. Phone must be factory reset and have no passwords or locks. Good practice: Make a VIDEO and take photos of the phone, including showing some functions, to prove the condition if Samsung challenges you after inspecting the phone. More details....

My phone has scratches [or burn in or faulty Bluetooth or fill in the blank]. Will Samsung accept the phone? Will the trade in amount be reduced? According to the FAQ, "Your device must have no breaks, cracks, or other defects that go beyond normal wear and tear." Is your issue normal wear and tear?
When/how will I get instructions for trading in my phone? Samsung will send you an email with the subject "Welcome to the Samsung Trade-In Program." The email will arrive anywhere from the day the phone ships to a few days after the phone arrives. It includes a link to download a pre-paid shipping label. You have 15 days from receipt of the email to ship the trade in. You can also get the shipping label for the trade in from your online Samsung account under order details.
Two commonly asked questions about financed and leased phones:
1. The device I'm trading in is one that I bought using an equal payment or other financing plan, and I still have payments left on it. Can I still trade it in?

However, I started developing muscle weakness in mid-teens. Docs told my mom I probably wanted attention. So I stopped complaining. Got worse. By 20yo, too weak to make it to college classes, had to drop out and quit my job, struggling to breathe. Docs claimed I was mentally ill. Soon ended up intubated over and over. Before you know it, trach, vent, wheelchair, feeding tube. They finally admitted I was sick. Turns out I have a rare, progressive genetic neuromuscular disease. Just got the diagnosis in January.

Plus last year was when they gave a free smart tag with every pre order and like a week after I got my package from them they sent me an email and somehow in their system they didn't send the free Smart tag with my order so they had sent out another one. Kinda sucks because I dont use them but it was still cool that they did that.
