Thanks for posting the deal. I'm looking at it now on the Costco website. Is it worth $200? 4GB of RAM seems awfully low.

I used chomebook with 4GB RAM and it is fine. $150 discount at Costco is 42% off, a very significant percent off for electronic item. The Celeron N4500 CPU is much better than the Celeron N3350 in chromebook sold at Sams at $70 discount.

Exactly. I did order from the other post, 17" one, and the weight is very noticeable when I carry it around the house. Given the build is very good and the performance is satisfactory, it's just too heavy for my needs. If you mainly keep it in one location then it's perfect.

I just bought this for my 11 year old nephew. Looks like it's not touchscreen? Unless touchscreen doesn't work in guest mode? I couldn't get data on my phone to check the specs,, and there was no screen info on the cardboard brochure. I'll be returning it.

I'm IT and have always been anti Chromebook but got tired of my work horse laptop getting beaten with trips,

Wanted to get a Chromebook and use use it first hand and see if would be good tweener between my tablet and my my good laptop
and also see if it would function as a good option for my elderly father.

Got the Costco HP. 14:/4gb raam/256 SSD and have found it to be a good extension of my phone and for basic surfing and email. This model
only a lacks a back key board and touch screen and are my only complaints so far. Has a micro sd slot if you need to add additional local storage.
