For a game drive, it's not bad, but if you need to do a bunch of writes (especially large sequential or otherwise), you'd be better off with something like the Team CX2 even without a DRAM Cache. The Team CX2 would even be okay as a single OS drive as long as you are fairly easy on it. Any QVO drive is only good for Storage (and then only good for write once (or few) and read many times). The sequential write of this bombs to less than 100 MB/s after around 80GB written. That actually makes this worse than a Spinning drive (modern spinners run anywhere from 150 MB/s to about 230MB/s).
Oh yeah and the Team CX2 at 2TB is regularly priced at $160, so for less than $10 you are getting a much better drive.
