Deleted my previous comment. Looks like the use case is for tanks that are mounted to trailers, etc, and not easily accessible to pickup and determine the weight. Also big boy 30lb or greater tanks.

Anyone have any experience with these on their RV?
I'm considering, but since I have two tanks and would really never run out, it's more of a minor convenience that anything else.

Or, for less than $15, put on a valve that has an empty-to-full gauge instead. Readily available on the fleabay.

Can't use one of these on an RV with a tank cover, not enough clearance.
So although a cheaper resolution for some, it wouldn't work for RVs
