I bought this Dec '20 and really liked this saw, but my motor died after a week of very light usage and the bevel would start slipping out of 90 deg. Looked at 1 star ratings and saw people also had the sudden motor death issue. For those that didn't have the issue, it's a fantastic saw. But, I was done after that failure, and got a new dewalt 7941rs for $320.

Yeah, Ridgid is a really low quality tool. I feel like people just bought it because they liked the color scheme, or they were just Home Depotants???

I mean, you can get better tools, with better deals, all throughout the year.

Why does someone choose Ridgid? I'm legit curious?
