I work for Avis, code is valid for BAYPHARM CORP. employees only.
However, anyone can use them and most counter staffs don't care. Unless it's a manager checking you in, then they might ask for validation. The reason is because even without accidents, we periodically bill BAYPHARM CORP. for wear and tear and other miscellaneous charges, if they refuse to pay due to "fraud", you better believe we're gonna get those funds from you.

The problem is not whether they will rent a car to you. The problem is if you get into an accident. You're giving your insurer an opening on backing out on coverage because renter violated rental agreement due to misrepresenting eligibility to be on this rate. So this is potentially penny wise pound foolish.

I rented with Hertz for years I am like a platinum member.
But, I majority of my rent through company and corporate.
Also, I don't remember I extend my rental.
But, the stories are real and it's totally bullshit. I wouldn't have believed unless it really happened with one of my friends.
He got arrested for car theft and the police couldn't do anything.
Long story short, how would you feel when you get handcuffed in front of the family and kids? He once or twice extend his rental and promptly paid for it. This farking low life company knowingly playing with people lives.

For me, this is a no brainer. Assuming this is an airport pickup, I'd definitely go with Hertz. You'll for sure get a newer car with fewer miles.

Since they are only valid at airport locations it's not a deal. You can get a better price at a non airport location without the coupon.
