for the last 1.5 months I have been trying to get my greenworks 60v mower repaired.
it took them 3 weeks to answer me and they directed me to a repair center,
I called in before taking the mower there, they said they cancelled their contract with greenworks because greenworks does not supply necessary parts to repair
greenworks said they are immediately sending a replacement mower and it should reach within 10 days
after a few days i contacted them and asked for a tracking number for the replacement
they said they have no 60v mowers available and they sent me another repair center which is 1 hour drive from my house.
they are clearly not an honest company just FYI

Good price but they constantly switch battery formats even within the same voltage. For their 40V tools there's the old non-GMAX batteries, the GMAX, and somehow a 3rd kind of 40V batteries that are different than the GMAX. They are not compatible with each other's tools and chargers. Maybe someone with experience with their 24V line can chime in, but I'm always weary of tools that for no reason become obsolete because you can't get batteries for them anymore within a couple of years.

And then onto the voltage itself... there's 24V, and this one that combines 2 24V to make up 48V, there's the 40V, 60V, and 80V.

Additional 10% mailing list signup stacks, as well as free 4ah 24v battery added to cart. Seems hard to pass up now.

I like the greenworks string trimmer and blower I have, so figure it's worth a try.
No-brainer if they are 24v/48v as well.

How long did the 10% coupon take to come for you guys?

I put my email into the box that says "SIGN UP & SAVE 10%!" and I haven't go anything yet after about 30 mins (checked my spam and nothing either).
I know it took it because if I try to do it again, it says "This email is already subscribed"

My 60 mower was delivered today with a dent in the box. Reviews like you that I see scare me. Was going going go with the ryobi 40v but settled on the greenworks 60v

I have the 40v mower and lots of other tools and love them. I would almost jump on this if I needed a new one. I already have the drill though

Pls suggest: I have a small lot of 8.5k sq ft.
Is the Sunjoe 14inch 28-volt cordless mower which I bought for $80 is sufficient enough ? Or better to go with this Greenworks mower?
Bigger mower means lesser passes to cover. 8500 Sq ft is not really small . Living in Central FL I always go for tools which help me finish the job quick especially in super hot summers. My suggestion would be to go for a 21 inch mower.

Thanks for this. Just upgraded my green works mower from 2012. The mower still works it's just the battery is no longer in production and it's pricey for a replacement. This is an awesome deal.

If you have a small(er) yard and more obstacles to mow around then the 17" may be better because it is easier to navigate with (smaller and lighter).

Takes up a little less space to store too.

The rep I had about a year ago was up-front with me....doesn't look like there's any repair spots in your area. We're going to send out a mower, but there's no warranty.

I got.a brand new mower! About 3 months in though....one of the two blades stopped spinning. I was heartbroken. It was near the end of the mow season so I just did what I needed to do with a now underpowered mower that I had to take twice as long to cut grass with.

I plan on taking it apart in the spring and seeing if for example it just disconnected at a blade or whatever. My wife banned me from future Greenworks mowers UNLESS it's bought through Costco, as Costco has that fire ass warranty. I see they have one, but it's like $600....

garage space is not really going to be that much different. If you have a smaller lawn, you can do a 17" and get away with it not taking too much extra time. about 15-20% more time then vs a 20" mower. Its far more noticeable if your current yard takes 40 minutes to mow....

if you are under 10 minutes to mow...go small Smilie
