This is probably the most versatile tool made actually. And a corded version will eat your hand alive from vibration.
Once you use one of these and get to know the attachments, you'll end up using it a lot more.

They have the DCK299P2 Dewalt Set for, $299 as well. It's a decent deal. Two 5ah batteries, charger, case, the DCF996 Hammer Drill, and DCF887 Impact Driver.

Well worth it to not have a cord on power tools. I've had my tools for 4 years now and battery performance is not an issue. For some tools, it makes sense to have a cord.
