TU and Repped
Just because you have a old GPU doesn't mean other ppl can't enjoy 1440p 144hz gaming.....
I will be running two of these monitors through a Dell hub.
Appreciate any advise!

Yeah acer monitors suck and fail often
27" in 1080p on a monitor looks like absolutely garbo side by side to their respective counter parts.

27" in 1080p is going to look bad. 3050ti laptop can't handle 1440p well enough to consider it. I would stick to a 24"/144Hz/1080p monitor. No one who knows what they're doing would ever suggest a 27" 1080p monitor and a curved monitor just limits viewing angles more and is pretty gimmicky.
For $210 you can get the Dell 240Hz 24" IPS display from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B095TVWL6M)
For $199 you can get the Monoprice ZeroG 144/144Hz from Newegg.
For $170 you can get the frameless 24" 24G2 from AOC in IPS for $170 (amazon)

I had heard that 27" 1080p is actually ideal for gaming ... over 27" and you get into the realm of 1440.
27" today is what 24" was 5 years ago.
