With the expiring $75 Visa card, I believe it's technically the cheapest this TV has been (for new, not refurb), but then again - this is NewEgg and they haven't been the most consumer friendly vendor for a while.

(prior to this was the ebay/BuyDig offer during BF 2021 with automatic $100 rebate and also included the same warranty, $999 vs $972 AR).

I guess now it's a matter of paying the $1500 for the 48" C2 when it comes out, get the C1 from a more reputable vendor, or get this C1 from NewEgg and hope their batch of TVs aren't previously RMA'd TVs being sold as new...(too soon?)

I ordered it and returned the Gigabyte I ordered a few weeks ago(I hadn't opened it in hopes an LG would go on sale), I'd much rather the better processing and other features of this for about 150 more.

I was also thinking about the C2 as well, and it surely would be better, even if they don't unlock the extra brightness it seems the pixels are a bit larger and so still should be better, but I don't think 3-500 better, plus having to wait, and who knows whats going to happen to the value of things in the meantime.

I like the idea of the 42", but I don't like the drop in brightness since it has smaller pixels, and a worse pixel to non-pixel area since the traces are still about the same size.

seems decent.. been in the market for a smaller set for bedroom as intro into oled for gaming before upgrading my living room set which can hold off for another year.

The 55in being only $200 or so more makes it a harder decision.

I wonder how much they are going for on the other greenish site..

This tv was cheaper as a refurb on woot a few times. I got it the lowest priced $799 back the first week of Dec.

Yeah - you can always get refurb stuff cheaper - I was just comparing items marked as new - though with NewEgg, it appears that definition could mean new to you.

(good point though, updated post)

Just tried with two of my accounts and while it let me apply in cart, upon checkout it says my account/email isn't eligible.
