standard 60hz but oc's to 165hz? wowzers what am i missing here? this seems to tick all the boxes: 4k, ips, hdr10 (though only 300 nits), vesa 100x100 mounting, hdmi, dp, headphone jack, even comes with an hdmi cable, and all at $200 with free shipping? this seems like THE deal to go for!

If you read the fine print, it says depends on models. I'm pretty sure this can't be OC to 165Hz. And if it does, it will probably have to be downsampled to 1080p mode or something like that.

Is that a realistic overclock? Redditors reporting maxing at like 72-85 fps with OC. Not much other mention of OC for this monitor anywhere else

From what I've found. Overclocking only works at 1080p

I know it sound perfect..I have a 4k business laptop and docking station and thinking about 4 of them 2x2 that's the equivalent of a 56" 4k screen in span mode or with laptop screen 5 4k screens,

There are obvious bandwidth limitations if anyone's thinking of OC'ing the refresh rate beyond 60hz at 4K without some reduced subsampling. The ports are only HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.2.

Correct. If it was able to, this monitor would at least have a native 120hz refresh rate.

This only supports Displayport 1.2 and HDMI 2.0, 60-75Hz is most likely max for this. 4K 100+ Hz is still $500+ atm.

But for a 4K monitor IPS this is a good deal regardless.

Really great deal on a 4k monitor. A couple of things to keep in mind:

1) No USB ports
2) Not height adjustable

If these things aren't important to you and you're in the market for a 4k monitor in the 27"-30" range, this seems like the best deal right now.
