They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)
Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.
So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

I'm looking forward to know if the TMOHS1 you're using is pulling hotspot or regular data.

No,
You would need to open up a separate BUSINESS ACCOUNT under your Company/Business Name using your Company's EIN #
Cell companies have three categories of devices:
Phone (can be used for voice calls)
Tablet, sometimes including cellular laptops (data only, used directly on the device)
Hotspots, routers (data only, not used directly on the device itself, but shared to an additional device)
These are not interchangeable. And they can tell by reading the device MEID and IMEI, which identify the device. They can also tell if it is on-device data or shared hotspot based on both TTL and by which APN is used (the APN for on-device usage is a different gateway than the DUN or PAM shared hotspot APN gateway).
It is not as simple as just moving the SIM card.
Chang IMEI change ttl
and you are good to go
Put one SIM card in my 6th gen iPad mini, which will be the main device where it will be used. Worked immediately, with good 5G service.
Tried to login to my account to see details of the billing, but got this message: "Setting up account.
Please check back in the next 24-48 hours to continue activation." The charges went through fine on my card, so I'm not sure what is going on.
I am realizing that I accidentally used my personal email instead of my business email when signing up. I have also had a T-Mobile Business account in the past, but I closed that about 5 years ago. I'll check again later this week.
Just some data points if it is helpful to anyone.
and you are good to go
That is partially correct.
The ESN and MEID also identify the device.
