They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)
Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.
So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

Can you please share more details on how to do this?
I already have a ATT tablet plan and was thinking to get this and close that one.
According to a previous frontpage deal here
https://slickdeals.net/f/14894491-at-t-unlimited-tablet-plan-or-ipad-20?v=1&src=Site
and here
https://www.reddit.com/r/ATT/comm...unlimite
"In September of 2020, AT&T retired the unlimited $20 iPad/tablet plan, and the new plan dropped mention of hotspot entirely. For whatever reason, sign ups to the new plan still had access to the unlimited hotspot data from September through February 2021. In February, though, a 10GB cap was placed on hotspot data for all accounts on the new plan."
So it is no longer possible to sign up for the $20 ATT tablet plan that comes with unlimited hotspot data. While with this deal, you can do almost all what the ATT sim card can do, and some have reported they can use the SIM card in a mobile hotspot with fast speed via USB tethering

It is so so popular in rural areas, where people have no internet options. I heard some people like buy it from resellers for like $75~$120/month. Just for using the plan. I saw people on reddit pulling TBs on that plan and not get throttled, banned or even warning.
Look at this video, she is probably buying that ATT plan for $110/month from reseller.

Some people have like big antennas hooked up to Nighthawk M1, look at images at https://imgur.com/gallery/4IbXE
1. The price difference of $10 (Tax Included) vs. $20+tax/fees, you get what you paying for
2. Not every business is going to be happy if employees are on YouTube or Netflix at the workplace
3. I see the USB tethering from a mobile hotspot to a wifi router as an advantage. This is going to be useful for people who work from home. You may be able to do it with the ATT plan too but you have to enter the gray area of changing the IMEI number on the hotspot. ATT has suspended the user's account after using the sim on a hotspot.
4. Being able to use the SIM card and plan abroad, not only in Mexico and Canada, is also an advantage.
5. Being able to use the SIM card and plan on another phone or tablet is also an advantage. ATT has suspended the user's account after using the sim on another device.
It really depends on what you are going to use this plan for. If you want to use this data plan to replace your home internet, then I am not sure if a $10 plan is a good idea. Maybe only for some
STOP! 1. Two years payment up front is required, with bad throttling actors. They do no have to keep you in "priority" and have been known to cut you off. You lose 2 years of payments if you leave.
2. They can change their already draconian TOS and customers can not. It has already been proved; that they do not just throttle because of congestion. And wireless does get congested and their terms let them be irresponsible for stopping more congestion. Wireless can not handle the bandwidth of everyone sold. Even cable has congestion and bandwidth compared to fiber; which is not everywhere available. This means DO NOT buy supposed high use wireless. And yes wired is part of the total monopoly, lack of real choices. One practical wired choice is monopoly socialism, taking business advantages.
3. Banks will not do a chargeback for these type plans. They require proof of statement from a professional, in the telecom industry to even consider your chargeback or any proration at all. Banks lie about having your back and it's a long limbo process to catch them.
4. Also: MVNO's offerings are not really competitors, as they resell from the main wireless carriers. Tmobile still does some crap like ATT wireless and Verizon wireless does.
5. Main carriers are bad actors unconcerned about customer satisfaction just as well as their MVNO's. Pretense. Pretense. Pretense. So verify. And the only solution to monopoly is break up and sane law as guidance, to cut the BS. Do not buy what you do not need. My prayer is this helped you realize what you could be paying for. Deep Packet Inspection techniques are spying on what your patterns are doing EVEN WITH VPN encryption. This is the dark days of no net neutrality now.
6. This all means you can pay inflated priced to your one real wired choice or you can eat it. Unless of course you have no job and get your free Obama/Biden phone; that working taxpayers MUST pay.
7. Voice calling and SMS are one thing; but data on wireless is practically mute. So why buy a wireless promise; that they will not provide and at their selective whim/TOS? These 7 points will help you quickly decide if this deal is for you. Best wishes.

...For data. This deal plan emphasizes data.

They say unlimited; there terms say something else. They do something else. You will not get "unlimited".
You will in fact get much more limit; than even limited cable Internet. They spy and cut you down and off; even if you always use VPN/Encryption.
Like a lot, a lot; more limited. So like pants on fire "Unlimited" and so worthless 10GB/50GB.
It's a two year lock you in scam. Welcome to hell.
I.... HAVE..... FULL..... HD..... STREAMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOR FREE!!!!!!!!!!! ON THESE $10 TABLET PROMO PLANS!!!
I have a 20-year T-Mobile Postpaid Consumer plan, but I opened a new Business plan back on 3/17 just to grab one of these promo plans. I didn't add anything else, just a single Magenta Business Tablet Promo plan... the TI version. I did it on eSIM on my 7th gen iPad. I didn't get the free Android tablet.
It was such a deal that I went back a couple days later to get the same plan, but this time on a physical SIM.
I thought that the ONLY thing this plan could do to get better would be to have full HD/4K..... and based on what I read on here earlier by another poster, I called my Business Team of Experts....
Took 35 minutes, but I now have FREE full HD streaming on both my promo tablet lines!! I called 611, then said "Business", but that rep did have to transfer me over to Business Tech Support to get the job done.
I'm watching full 1080p, where it was stuttering just last night, and this isn't one of those 1080p vids that can "somehow" sneak through without stuttering.... EVERY HD vid is blazing through!
I'm going to go use the Firefox trick and see if I can find a SOC code for what's been added on. I shall return.... but in the meantime... YAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!

You can get this plan without the free 2-year device offer. Just give them a call like Dr Pepper did
50GB is still better than the offer from ATT which is 22 GB. Many of us are doing fine after using up the prioritized data cap
