The multiple ways of using this $10 line for home internet are:
1. T-Mobile Gateway + Cudy N300 or X6 which are wifi only routers to mask hotspot usage with TTL set on the external wifi router. You can use other wifi routers for this purpose but there's a menu page in the Cudy routers which makes setting TTL easy - Courtesy waterchange
1.1 Cudy router like Cudy LT500 or LT18 or the 5G P8 work as a single device with modem + wifi router. Work well for home internet. Nice thing about the Cudy modems is easy TTL (and imei magic if necessary). - Courtesy waterchange
2. M2100 hotspot device - Hit or a miss - native out of the box but less reliable
3. Orbic 5G hotspot device - more reliable than the m2100, however some people have reported throttling after 1st couple of months
4. Gateway + Project Genesis - works most reliably
5. TMOHS1 - ~ 30-50 mbps out of the box, no TTL update required
6. Tmobile Franklin - ~30-50 mbps with TTL update - the most reliable as of right now, however limited speed.
7. M2000 won't pull data from anywhere.
8. GL.iNET Spitz GL-X3000NR easier to use than Cudy and better performance but expensive. Great form factor and performance. Presets for T-Mobile TTL settings and advanced cell features like tower/band lock. External antennas.
9. M3000B works out of the box with T-Mobile version. Has battery preservation features and ethernet port. Some users say to switch 5G mode to NSA if the hotspot restarts frequently in your area.
Add/update if you have more/better info.

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)
Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.
So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

You can get this plan without the free 2-year device offer. Just give them a call like Dr Pepper did
50GB is still better than the offer from ATT which is 22 GB. Many of us are doing fine after using up the prioritized data cap

Thanks for posting your opinion; but I don't know you, your character (shill or not) and what you have actually done to test it. Your opinion does not change the non-opinion things things I posted.
And once again; I don't care if many want to shoot the messenger here. I understand buyer remorse.
But you know what everyone? People like me WARNED you what could go wrong without 'net neutrality'. Now it has. So keep fussing; WE told you so!
How's bit-torrent working for you?
Did you understand that just because they say no de-prioritization before 50GB/10GB; that they can and do throttling anyway. Perhaps not for you, or you have not kicked it off/down yet.
Have you had it over a month? On another plan my trouble didn't ramp up until mid year.
Without the tab then how much TOTAL fees do you have into this to date?
And BTW, I could get by with less than 10GB, so I'm not any kind of excess user. And I have learned of many people (READ) the monopolies just say are over users to cover their throttling; that once again has been proved NOT to be just because of their bad issue with congestion. They are cherry picking!
They only keep users who really rarely use the services and actually strongly infer you are supposed to have wired internet and not use only wireless cellular Data. Monopolies set things up so you have to buy both and more. Especially when the promo runs out.
These are the same chain of excuses listed to cover their tale.
They spy and and block even over VPN! When you see it and get to where I am then it's too late. You have already paid.
FOR EXAMPLE: In researching this deal there are comments saying you can get around the 480p approximate stream SLOWDOWN, by simply using a VPN. No, you can't. DPI can see you patterns and EVENTUALLY block you altogether, and they do.
All they have to do is deny throttling as much until the plan is over sold. Then they got you by the shorts for TWO YEARS. Or if monthly with all your fees paid up front.

Not sure what "bit-torrent" is, so I can't answer that.
I've been on T-Mobile for 20 years. There's no throttling/deprioritization unless you're on a crowded tower.
I've been grandfathered in on a REALLY good postpaid plan on the consumer side. T-Mobile grandfathers you in legacy plans, which is why people are scrambling to grab this Promo Tablet plan.
I'm in (as of right now) for $0. Had my Assistance fees refunded. In the middle of next month, I'll make my first payment of $20 flat. ($10 x 2)
I'm not sure of the other things you're talking about, but hopefully I answered some of your questions. Cheers!
I have a 20-year T-Mobile Postpaid Consumer plan, but I opened a new Business plan back on 3/17 just to grab one of these promo plans. I didn't add anything else, just a single Magenta Business Tablet Promo plan... the TI version. I did it on eSIM on my 7th gen iPad. I didn't get the free Android tablet.
Did you do it online or did you call in?

And you could have sent anything you deem needing correction to me without re-posting FIRST. Then it could be fixed; if you really wanted accuracy.
But if you're real and like it, fine.
Cheers
The internet is full of proof; that TMobile also throttles. Do the work.

I thought I needed a QR code, but nope, when I got home, there was a message that a new plan was waiting for me, and if I wanted to install it. Easier that I thought it would be!

(But yeah.... call in and have them add it to yours. I just stated what the other person said, that I wasn't happy with the SD streaming, and is there a way to get HD on this device without an upcharge. I called 611, and said "Business", and the rep had to transfer me over to my Business Tech Support who put me on hold twice to get it done. This truly is an unbelievable plan!!)
If you don't want the free Samsung A7 tablet, then click Devices, then Bring Your Own Device. On that page, enter the IMEI of the tablet you are bringing. You'll need a valid IMEI of a LTE-enabled tablet (I think) to be able to see the Magenta Business Unlimited Promo data plan.

"We" means a group of people here from their posts I can tell they know the information about the prioritized data cap.
I do not know you either. You made a comment about my post, then I can also write a reply.
People have freedom of speech
Thanks for your warning, I know there is a risk.
When I asked rep to change TE to TI, they took away my Tablet Promo. (I guess cause system thought my plan has ended/I ended my line)
I had to contact support again and they said TI is eligible with Promo so they gonna try to re-add to my account. Look at attached screenshot. Too much hassle bro. I still dunno if I will get monthly promo credits or not. I have like 14 days since delivery of tablet to send tablet back. Another person said they did same thing like bought Tablet with TE plan, changed to TI plan, got Tablet Promo removed, then contacted support to re-add the Tablet Promo.
Tablet Promo is Promo T929, For TI plan the SOC is ZB10HSTI (SOC (Service Order Code) is the technical term used to describe plans and services that are added to customers' accounts within T-Mobile). It will like help the rep get help faster. If possible ask rep, if ZB10HSTI plan is compatible with Promo T929 and take screenshot of it as proof incase things go south.
Good Luck
What number did you call?
