Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

Can I make the TI order first and ask the rep to waive the tablet fee?

I couldn't get the $10 monthly data only plan online without adding the A7 tablet, so decided to go to a T-Mobile store to see if they can help me out. The first store I went tried to look up the $10 data plan, but after trying to find the deal the T-Mobile person told me that I also needed to have a T-Mobile post paid plan in order to sign up. I thanked them for their time and told them I didn't want it. I went to a second store and Anthony spent 10 minutes trying to find the $10 monthly deal with the A7 tablet. At first Anthony thought I was looking to use the $10 monthly data plan on a cell phone, but I after talking a bit to Anthony, Anthony realized that I was actually going to use the sim in a tablet and that made things easier for Anthony. Took about 10 to 15 minutes to finalize everything. I pad $30 for the service and $20 for the sim card (which was the same as online when I tried to order online). Anthony popped in the sim card for me.

I went to the T-Mobile store with a 1099 from ebay, I was hoping to use the TIN that was associated with my 1099 form, but when Anthony entered it into the system it didn't see to work, so Anthony asked for a SSN. Anthony took a picture of my driver license and my 1099 form (proof of business).

My speed tests wasn't the greatest, so I was wondering what kind of speeds is everyone else getting? I'm getting about 30 to 40ms latency. I'll mainly be using the data plan to watch youtube/youtube tv and web browse. I'll see how I like how after 1 month. If it doesn't work out, I'll just cancel it.

I get like 30~40 Mbps usually on Speedtest but like video streaming is throttled hard. Check your speed at Netflix's speedtest https://fast.com/ for me it is at 1.3 Mbps, Yikes lol. I have been using 1.1.1.1 App and the Wrap VPN thingy they have and it gets me almost full speed to watch Netflix and Youtube, etc. I think atleast 2 people have gotten lucky and gotten like HD/4k Pass added to their account which removes that Video streaming throttle (like they don't need to use VPN like me to stream at full speed)

BTW, you using it on a tablet or phone, just curious. There is someone on Reddit who was using it on iPhone 13 Pro Max and getting 5G UC coverage and getting 500+ Mbps down lol.

You can also tether the A7 to the Mango using EasyTether and it's data, not hotspot.

does this same method works for phone?

Anyone got like case suggestions for this tablet? Thanks
I got this one, and I like it. The back is actually clear, so it's kind cool and inexpensive too. The only thing is that the magnets to make it a stand aren't too solid. It doesn't stay up landscape mode very firmly when tapping on it, but I don't really care too much.

Check my post on page 36 for a speed test comparison in San Francisco, CA. (I don't know how to link a SD post on the SD mobile website.)

Are the Inseego models M2000 & M2100 only differ in the t-mobile or Verizon bands, or is there another spec difference? I cannot see anything concrete online. anyone here knows what's what?
If you are on ebay, don't trust the title or spec listings. I bought a "M2000" from Verizon, and it turned out to be a M2100, which is what I expected. When I was searching on ebay, I mainly went by the details of which cell carrier the hotspot was purchased from. I don't know too much more about which bands are covered with each device. I am pretty certain all T-Mobile Inseego M2000/2100 are carrier locked and the Verizon ones _should_ come unlocked.

Just to clarify after all the posts here. If you have an locked android phone, you can pop in the $10 TM sim and use the mango to stream/tether using data, not hotspot data.

OR

you can get a tablet (like the A7), pop in the TM sim, use the mango router and the Easy Tethering App.

How does using the TMOHS1 fit into this? TMOHS1 to the Mango?

(Just ordered the HS1 and thinking about adding the Mango. I have a android phone, so hoping the first suggestion will work.

Thanks for all the info you guys give!

Honestly, if you have the SOC code and your EIN, doing it in store isn't that bad. I even set one of my two lines up on eSIM.

From what I understand if you get the free tablet then they must put you on the TE (Tax extra) plan. Does anyone know if it's possible to add a 2nd line with the TI (Tax included) plan if you already have the tablet/TE plan on the account?

I don't think so.... just a little trial-n-error on the website shows that if you've chosen a TE plan, all the TI plans are no longer choosable when you go to add add'l lines. Just like how, on the Consumer side, you can't have both Magenta MI & ME residing on the same plan.

Signed up in store when I wasn't expect it's going to thru smoothly.

Plugged the sim into my phone and working good, will see how long it lasts. Got 600mpbs downstream speed where I have 5g+.
