Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

As to the above $99 Chromebook Go offer, can people who have/now have an existing business account, AND can sign in through Business page (not just my.t-mobile) see on the tablets etc. product page the $99 Chromebook Go banner? Or chromebooks at all for sale?

It's a shame they have their website messed up in regards to the Chrombook/$99 offer. I couldn't see any Chromebooks for sale much less $99 deal, until after I ordered/activated account. . .and my tablet shipped, so that I could then sign in. I still can't sign in through Business, but rather my.T-mobile. Which is why I ask the above.

I would rather have ordered one tablet and one Chromebook GO from the start, rather than deal with returns, and possible hassles with new line promo sticking now for a Chromebook

Signed up online and it approved me but wants me to verify before I can place order. Not close enough to store to go so hopefully this can be done over the phone. Anyone else run into this?

I find it easier to fully express myself with a proper keyboard on a Chromebook than on a touchscreen tablet or phone "keyboard". Case in point, I have no idea what you are specifically asking in your question.

Just giving you a hard time.

Even with weak specs, I find more value in the $99 Chromebook Go than the "Free" A7 lite 8.7" tablet. Though I would want one of each, for different situations. Just like I have a PC lappy, and a 2 screen PC desktop as well as a 27" AIO touchscreen. I would not even consider the lappy vs. the PC and AIO if sitting in my office chair. And there are certain times on the go where I need the productivity of the PC lappy. But most of the time for leisure, I grab the chromebook ( a better spec'd one, but not LTE). . .and to further that I fancy having one with built in LTE for when it's not as convenient to tether to better Chromebook or I will use up my 40GB phone hotspot and not near my home wifi etc. etc. , for different reasons or situations.
And part of my equation is the deal. If the LTE Tab 7FE were $99, I would grab it over this weaker Chromebook GO, and throw the Tab S8U full keyboard cover on it.
Disclaimer: Work from home 90% of the time. Not a gamer. Old school. Don't build my own PC's anymore. An Android Guy. Kids have iPads, I use them occasionally, but not sold. Hope this helps. . .

Only issue the line goes under 2 yr contract sort of due to the RDC eip.

So you can see the $99 Chromebook Go deal on your business acct?
Yeah, "contract", but I'm ok with that, especially if I get it pushed to TI (and HD stream as well lol). Even if I don't like the Tab A7L or the CB GO, kiddos have a couple of LTE iPads that need a proper tablet plan vs. free voice lines to run on anyways. And I like the fact that this is a separate standalone account, so no chance of fudging up my great consumer $48 for 9 MMax account. Worst case the CBGO gets wifi kitchen counter usage, and the A7L gets put on wifi on the recumbent bike (if I use their sim cards elsewhere). And can take the LTE sim card back to the CBGO when on vacation etc.

Point is, I'm gonna keep these two lines for two years anyways. And assuming I get the TI plan as well, I can find value in the $150 spent on those 2 devices ($99 for the GO plus tax on both) to use them without LTE usage for the most part. And gives more options. That A7L is a perfect fit BTW for the recumbent bike, whereas a 10.1 I would have to dedicate one and without a cover, lol, to fit the holder.

Regarding the chromebook promotion, one business rep tole me this, bummer. I'm returning the A7 lite.

The plan that you're on now is a promotional plan and is not eligible to participate in the $99 Chromebook Go offer. Your plan is an unlimited plan and then includes 10 GB of high-speed hotspot.

To be eligible, you'd need to be on a different plan, one that does not include unlimited data but a minimum of 10 GB of high-speed data overall, including on-device data or hotspot usage. The 10 GB plan which we offer would be $30 each month with AutoPay. We also offer plans with a larger amount of data as well if the 10 GB wouldn't be sufficient.

No idea, just sharing what rep told me.
He did help me get the A7 lite return with shipping label and free of charge with a full refund too.

I might try other reps for Chromebook go.

have you tried doing this with the device connected on USB instead of WiFi? USB is better and reliable. I had similar issue on WiFi, if not same.

And it's also better to change the admin pwd from the default one before doing this.
Thanks! That did the trick - as soon as I connected via USB it worked right away. Which options did you run? I only picked #6 & #8...

Thank you & repped.
My sim and tablet are arriving today.
I chatted with 2 reps online and both are saying the same that the credit will applied after 1-2 cycles.
I asked if I could return the A7 lite and get the $99 chromebook GO instead for $99 after monthly credits, they said yes, but it'll show up 1-2 cycles too.
So I am just going to wait until the sim and tablet arrived first and go from there..
What's the screen resolution on the Chromebook? The TMo page doesn't mention it in the specs section... Considering grabbing it but can't do 720p...

Is this why ?

"business account, & a new mobile internet line (10GB or higher)"
