Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

Yeah its luck of the draw when it comes to this kind of stuff, heavily depends on your reception and congestion. At home some times I get 13mbps sometimes I get 2mbps, at the exact same spot. But it was good to confirm that the utility can help avoid the hotspot data limit.

Not that I can tell. If you also have a TMO cell phone I guess you can put the two devices at the same place and run cellmapper (or an equivalent utiliy) on the phone to see what band you are on.

The m2000 is a tmobile branded hotspot that supports wifi6, 5g and up to something like 30 connections. The deal is, there is a person who can load a custom FW to mask your data useage on the device with the $10 tablet plan along with cloning your iemi to avoid being flagged by tmobile.

I went to my local Tmobile store today to setup a business account and add this tablet line. Unfortunately the rep was not too knowledgeable and (after creating my business account) could not find the tablet plan with the SOC code as provided, and ended up signing me up for some other "mobile internet" plan. When I got home I immediately called into the customer help line, and that rep promptly switched me over to the correct magenta tablet plan and also added the HD video pass after I requested it. Seems like the phone reps are more knowledgeable than the in-store ones.

Sucks - 5G at my house in the center of Los Angeles doesn't really get me any speed bump over LTE, and my pings are atrocious. I lock it to 4G LTE. Sigh.

Trying to get a tablet and setup with $10 magenta business tablet promo plan online. After submitted my personal info with SSN. TMO giving this message. Congrats with your approval. You are approved for zero tablets. Anyone know what this mean and what is my next step? TIA.

I got this as well, and the reason was bizarre. On the credit check page, I autofilled my address from Safari which seemed ok. However, once I went back and did the credit check page again, I started hand typing my address and selected it from the pop up completion box. This time I was approved (although then I was hit with the verify business issue).

I got the approval after the system ran the credit checked. But got hit with the you are approved for zero tablet. I hope I don't have to run the credit again if I need to go the store to sign up.

Which one of these is the TMOHS1 that can be "rooted" to Hide Tether Usage?
