Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

You CANNOT set up a new business account online.
It will give you the dreaded ZERO accounts approved.
Also, it will be a HARD PULL on your personal credit as you have to use your SSN vs. EIN.

Go into the store with your IRS letter showing your EIN number.
They will take a photo of that and your driver's license.
The credit is pulled on the EIN and not your SSN.

I know because I tried the online way 2 weekends ago.
Got the ZERO accounts message and could not check out.
Called TMo business on the next Monday.
They told me that I had to go into a physical store with my EIN letter.
I took the letter into a physical store that day, and they never asked for my SSN.
My business account was set up, I got my SIM card, and my tablet was UPS to me (2nd day).

NOTE: You may be able to set up an account via Facebook or Twitter. I know that you cannot online or by calling TMo Business....well, the TMo Business call center refused me, so YMMV.

I set my T Mobile Business Account set up over the phone and had the $10 / Tax Incl Plan set up with my Business EIN # and Business Credit Check was Done and completed within 5 minutes and then the person on 3 way that the rep connected me with called my Business Line to verify I was a real business and then after approval on credit check the rep had 2 sims overnighted by UPS to me the next morning. (entire phone set up took close to an hour.)

I have a spare TM-AC1900 laying around - do you know what I need to do to change the TTL on it to bypass hotspot limit? With this I could just USB tether from any 5g mobile phone, right? Thanks!
I got this working now using an old LG tablet and a flashed TM-AC1900 with Merlin FW. It has TTL modification settings built in. I am going to let it stream something overnight to test and verify its not pulling from the wrong data pool.

Unfortunately, see above:

It's a sarcastic comment to one who believe there is voice line on this plan if we are on iphone esim.

When was this?
I called the (national) TMo Business Customer Care on 4/25 and they told me that I had to go into the store with my EIN information.
As I said before, it is YMMV.
Some agents are obviously more versed on how to do things.
Or something has changed since this deal was posted.

I would guess it was luck. It would also be good to know if it has been tested recently. He may have done it early on enough where they allowed it but once more people started switching to eSIM, they probably were more strict in blocking voice. It would be nice to know the following variables:

Had consumer side account prior (Y/N):
Set up account with EIN or SSN:
TI or TE:
HDVPASS0 added (Y/N):
Method of switching to eSIM (phone, Twitter, FB):
Answers:

Had consumer side account prior (Y/N): Y, but they don't intersect in any way... don't know about each other.

Set up account with EIN or SSN: EIN

TI or TE: TI

HDVPASS0 added (Y/N): Y

Method of switching to eSIM (phone, Twitter, FB): Never "switched", this was a virgin install of the plan directly to eSIM. This was done at the store when I opened the account. Maybe this is why it's working?

So this particular TI plan that has functioning Voice & HDVPASS0 was at no time ever provisioned to a physical SIM.

That's interesting - perhaps the variable that allows voice.

The company went to shit as soon as John Legere left as CEO. But that happens with every corporation that was run right. The replacement destroys the company.
I totally agree on your comments about John Legere... Tmobile Customer Service was amazing at his time...it is worse than ATT and Verizon now. They are not only bad but they are unexperienced, totally horrible...

This is the [Sprint] way.

Interestingly, when I opened my account at the store, the manager had to help the associate. I got a physical SIM, but he did say something to the effect of "turning off/disabling the voice". It is odd that doing this step (at any point) is even needed as the plan is for "tablets". That should be done at corporate. I don't have an answer if it was a store associate setup that allowed this or other. Just my observation.

Does this mean they could cancel your account anytime if they decide to check on your imagine business?
Everyone owns a business with zero revenue. While some documents are required for particular types of business, there is no documentation needed to prove you have a "business".

Cool! let me know if it works. I messed something up with my AC1900 - got dd-wrt to load on it and now I can't get back to stock firmware or anything else except dd-wrt

I gave up and tried with my GIinet mango, and it plays nice with Easy Tether. Works great!

'tis correct. No physical SIM has ever touched this business account from day 1.
